Celtic Vs. AZ Alkmaar
Rangers Vs. Alashkert
St. Johnstone Vs. LASK
Aberdeen Vs. Qarabag

Got to feel there’s a good chance for 3 of the sides to at least make Europe there (Celtic/Rangers guaranteed Conference League group stage, at least)…. Harsh luck on St. Johnstone, drawing LASK, who are a decent side.

Played fantastic over both legs against Gala.

Me and my eldest lad went to Alkmaar with Everton a few years ago, what a great trip that was, they had a decent side back then LVG was in charge, don't know they are fairing these days

Coldest away trip of all time that. Nearly 14 years ago if I’m not mistaken. Won 3-2.

Two seasons ago, they were level with Ajax when COVID halted or they’d have potentially won the Eredivisie again.

Last season lost out on CL place on losing penultimate game to PSV, to PSV, who easily put away Midjytlland who knocked Celtic out, will be a hard one I think!

You're not wrong it was freezing.
Apart from CWC final in Rotterdam it was my second European adventure, I managed to get 4 tickets from 2 different sources here in Scotland, one of them had a good friend who was on the AZ staff who sat with us and took us up into the corporate bar after the match.
Alkmaar was a great little town, like a mini Amsterdam complete with canals, red light windows.area and some lively but friendly bars and great beer.
