After a sticky start, I think Celtic have been the best team in the league this season and at times, have played an exhilarating brand of football (their first half performance at Tynecastle back in Jan/Feb-time was a sobering watch). They will deservedly win the league and it’s been an impressive on-field transition from last season under Ange, who it must be said is a great bloke.

Celtic have struck gold there, and some could argue, their under-fire board got extremely lucky by making such an inspirational appointment on the back of last season’s calamity and waving cheerio to Terry Munro. But fair play to Big Ange.

Rangers will be spewing that they’ll lose their title but yet, they still have a lot to play for and if they can get past RBL, this should be considered, along with any other time a Scottish team reaches a European final, a landmark season and for me, a tremendous achievement.

Then there’s the Scottish Cup final on 21st May…

Excellent balanced post mate

Genuine sympathies to the bears fans on the passing of Jimmy Bell RIP. Anyone working for 30 years for a club deserves huge respect. @laudo9 @RFCbluenose

I knew a bloke who spent his life looking after Milltown for years. He was so passionate about Shamrock Rovers
Didn't know Jimmy Bell personally, but you felt that you did!

A great character who was Rangers through and through, didn't have any time for big reputations and treated everyone the same when they arrived at Ibrox, made sure they knew what standards were expected to be a Rangers player, you can see by the tributes from players past and present that he built close friendships with most players going through the club in his 36 years there.

Will really have had an impact with everyone at Rangers this week with his passing being so sudden, but hopefully the players can give a performance tonight that Jimmy would have been proud of.

There will be a minutes silence before the game tonight.

Because it would be a huge upset

About time a Scottish side made a major European Final again

It's good for the game up in Scotland. I'll always back the Scottish team in European competition provided they aren't playing Everton (As if we'll be in Europe any time soon of course). Gets that coefficient up and gives teams like Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen less hurdles to jump when they try and qualify

If only Celtic hadn't been so mince in Europe this season then they might have had a crack at making the Conference Final as well

Hopefully Celtic give a better fist of the Champions League next season

I think the regard in which he appears to be held and the minute's silence will fire up the players and the crowd, with Rangers European home form I see them edging this but it will be close.

Who would want to sign Griffiths now? He's only 31. He should still be a top payer. Instead, he's pished his career away.
He's had glimpses of being decent imo - never a top player.

Yeah he had a lot of good games for Celtic, but it's still Celtic - the more better players around you - the better you are and all that; he doesn't elevate the team.

Also rotten attitude it seems hahah
