Not fluid when hes on the ball at all, dunno whether its because the class of footballer around him as improved, his injury, or a combination of the both.

But theres only so many more times I can watch him move forward, turn back, open his arms out to suggest he needs more movement, then pass backwards

Wow. What a utterly horrible performance. Piss poor up and down the line. He's been abysmal this season, and I'm one of his biggest advocates. Now I'm convinced the injury has finished him off. He's lost his ability, and his confidence is shot - a deadly combination. Not his fault of course regarding the injury, and it really pains me to see one of my all time favourites Blues so rapidly on the decline in what should be his peak years, but he desperately needs replacing ASAP. I hope the manager sees this too, no room for sentiment I'm afraid.

Incredible value at £60k

Great professional & top man.

All that said, we badly need a first choice RB.
The irony is he actually does look like a 60k footballer now post-injury. Not a sleight on him, I love him, he's been excellent for us. But time is up. In typical Everton style, his injury on international duty has killed off his career with us.

Brilliant professional but unfortunately Seamus is now the weak link in the team. Kenny simply isn't good enough now and may never be so perhaps Holgate is worth a try until a good rb can be brought in.

Everything he did today was negative. Every pass was backwards. Every throw was backwards. Digne is the standard we want. I think him coming in for Baines has shown us that its time to move on from the old guard.
Its not a fitness thing for me either. He just lacks the guts to go forward, to take a man on with conviction. Yes he has lost a yard of pace but the old Coleman would have had the quality to deal with that.
Thank you Seamus but its time.
