By having Digne on the other side you can clearly see the limitations that Coleman has.
In his defence though he is getting on a bit and has overcome a nasty injury.

He was Piss poor before the injury.

He really is struggling in possession and now he's suddenly not able to defend at all. The OG was unlucky to some degree but he also has reacted and tried to play it and messed it up. Not great on the second goal and also at fault to some degree in midweek. The problem is Kenny is the only replacement and last time he played he got put on his backside by a player who has barely done anything else significant in his time in the Prem.

Absolutely not the solution. Holgate is even worse in possession than Coleman is and I don't think he's good enough defensively for that part to really make a difference. Honestly if we have the budget to buy one player in January RB wouldn't be the worst place to spend the money.

A creative solution could be going some kind of 3 CB formation with Walcott at RWB and just pray that he isn't too much of a liability defensively. Wouldn't try that against any half decent side though.

I don't blame him for the og but Seamus has always had the problem of not knowing instinctively where a player is. He needs to look up each time and lose vital seconds in the process. Then starts waving his arms. His thought process isn't quick enough in a fast game

Unfortunately the lad is getting worse by the game for me. Start Kenny over Xmas and make a decision in January. I can't see us getting a rb in in January though (can only see us getting gomes sorted and a c.f. in). It'll be a summer thing, so give Kenny a chance he can't do any worse and has room to improve.
