Didn't Tom Davies get a few pre season games at the start of last season at RB?

It's probably the only way he is likely to get a game at the moment.

Coleman def had another mare but not a great deal he could do about the og. Out muscled badly for the second though.

Shouldn’t Keane have been aware of a late run to meet a cross?

Not sure who else Keane may have been marking but the fact remains that Coleman was out muscled for the header.

If he was only there because Keane had left his man then you have a point but I am not sure that was the case.

I don't like saying this but I think we need to replace him. He should be given the option of staying as back up or moving to another club. Whichever he decides will be fine with me. He still walks into 10 Premier League teams but where we need to be he is just passed it. A bit like Baines was 3 years ago but as Oviedo wasn't quite good enough we stuck with. Get the new player in during the window and by the start if next season he'll be bedded in. If Coleman goes we need a back up so get Kenny out on loan for rest of the season so he can get games and iron out some of the creases.

Coleman is taking the blame simply because he was the closest player to Doucoure when he scored. It suits the narrative of some to lay it all on him.

You've got some absolute unit having a running jump on you, of course he's gonna to win the ball when you're just standing there.

I agree Coleman hasn't been at his best but some of the hyperbole on this thread is uncalled for. I maintain he hasn't been THAT bad.

Some of the criticism of him has gone way over the top. Some Everton fans just seem to need a scapegoat to take the blame each and every time.

Definitely lost pace which is a concern. Number of balls played in front of him for him to run on to and cut I side or cross first time but he would often slow down or stop.

He is still boss though.

I feel bad wanting to replace him but if we do it now he can still go somewhere and get regular 1st team football at a club where he will be appreciated. He has another 2-3 years at Premier League level but not in a team chasing top 6. I would happily keep him as a back up but his service has earned him the right to choose in the summer.

no it hasn't, he has been absolutely shocking this season

I bet you every single club in world football has a scapegoat it's just what fans do, there is ALWAYS someone who doesn't perform well enough for a team, even city probably have one

no one is really slagging him off etc they're just saying he hasn't been good and needs dropping ( which is true )

Not really a big fan of constantly playing out from the back.I think it's ridiculous for the goalkeeper to make a short pass to the full back, as 99% of the time it ends up back with the goalkeeper anyway who then punts it upfield. Just smash it up and concentrate on the 2nd ball, at least the ball is nowhere near our goal if we lose possession. Koff with trying to be all fancy and Barcelona-like.
