I didn't think he was that bad. I judge his performances by the fact he should be a back up right back. Wanting more than that is obviously going to leave you frustrated with his performances.

I'd also say he hasn't been much worse than Digne on the other flank in recent months.

Comparisons to Phil Neville are harsh. Neville actually captained teams that regularly made europe. They were greater than the sum of their parts and when they let you down there was normally an immediate reaction.

Coleman has been captain of some of the worst PL Everton teams ever and frankly the most hated bunch of lazy apathetic mercenaries ever who have seen manager after manager fired whilst they’ve creamed in cash.

He was a good player for us up to 13/14 but frankly since then he’s offered nothing and now really needs to leave the club as he’s part of the problem.

The "contract for life" comment made me sick. He's played under 4 managers who got sacked and still harps on about standards, how about you look at yourself soft git.

Most games he plays in nowadays it's just uncomfortable watching him struggle as much as he does. The odd good showing here and there shouldn't disguise the fact that he's on the decline rapidly and has been for at least 2 years. Yet Ancelotti keeps playing this nonsense wing-back system to accommodate him. Pathetic.

Needs to move on/retire, and if to achieve that someone at the club needs to have an ugly conversation with him so be it. Happens to players far better than him who achieved far more than he has at other clubs.
