That needed doing 5 years ago but no one would listen.Absolutely awful player. Needs putting out to pasture now. There must be an u23 right back who has the ability to run

Spot on, in a nutshell .Comparisons to Phil Neville are harsh. Neville actually captained teams that regularly made europe. They were greater than the sum of their parts and when they let you down there was normally an immediate reaction.
Coleman has been captain of some of the worst PL Everton teams ever and frankly the most hated bunch of lazy apathetic mercenaries ever who have seen manager after manager fired whilst they’ve creamed in cash.
He was a good player for us up to 13/14 but frankly since then he’s offered nothing and now really needs to leave the club as he’s part of the problem.
That counts for precisely nothing. At least he looks like he cares unlike the majority of the team.
Phil Neville in 2013, actually begging him to retire now for his own dignity. Has become comically bad in the majority of games.
Still love the guy and always will.
Haters gonna hate.
On the pitch, hopefully we can get a Digne like replacement and allow him to be a bit player next season.
Bingo! Sad to see, passion, commitment and loyalty. He’s not good enough these days but it’s not for want of trying. He should have been back up right back this season, instead he’s being asked to play as right midfielder, right wing back, that’s on Brands and the manger. Hopefully a bit part next season. If you have a problem with Seamus Coleman, then you really have a problem with the managers who have continued to pick him.
Hate it when the mob turns on lads who have actually shown a bit of passion and commitment over the years, saw it with Weir, Cahill and others at the end if their careers too, absolutely pathetic.
It was a wet night. A frustrating moment for sure but digging Seamus out for slipping seems a wee bit harsh.Him slipping in the last minute under little pressure when he had a chance to put a ball in just giving the opposition easy possession just about summed up his form for quite sometime for me.
