2020/21 Seamus Coleman

Yay he ran a lot. Shame he is a footballer and not an athlete. Watching him go through his repertoire of Cruyff turns at least brings a smile to my face.

Worked hard but really poor management having him on the right hand side. No lacking effort but the quality certainly isn't there playing in that position
It was the better option from first teamers for me. Coleman won't give you attacking tricks and skills but neither will Iwobi and Iowbi won't defend as well or look arsed while he's doing nothing. Only thing we lose by putting Seamus there over Iwobi is the odd lateral about 30yds out run followed by a square ball to Digne.

The way some people talk about Coleman you would think he is about to go into his 40's.

He is still fast and he can still play a useful role in the squad.
Useful in the games we are sitting in and defending. Or coming on for the last 10mins to see a game out.

But when we say play the bottom 10 sides home and away, games we should be taking to the opposition, he can’t be anywhere near the starting 11.

Injuries starting to catch up with him. If ever there was a time to start planning for life after Seamus, it would be this summer.
yep agreed, still good enough to be Inthe squad but defo need a young RB (hopefully arrons or.lamptey) We'l end up signing ivanovic though
