Seamus will be more than good enough as a coach if I've come to know what he's like as an individual over the years. Of course, I don't know what he's like behind closed doors but he talks a good game.

Why?

He has been the worst captain this club has had, not player Captain

How's he been the 'worst' captain we've had, and as a player he's a fantastic RB with a brilliant attitude to the game and the club, he'd be a great influence on any young defender coming through, same as Baines

Love his commitment but wouldn't want him teaching our future fullbacks how to cross a ball.

I'd want him to teach them his desire to get back and win a tackle but still get up and create an attack

….he’s a top professional, a very decent man and great ambassador for our club. Unless you’re part of the first team squad posting on GOT, I doubt you have any idea of his worth within the club.

Given his obvious standing & respect in the game, yours is a statement in my opinion.

Fantastic player in his prime and a Fantastic servant to us all but agree hes been a woeful captain on the pitch and should never have been given the arm band in first place

….he was excellent at times last season. He’s certainly got a role coming off the bench or as back up.
