Gana might well have played himself out of the team for Garner and Iwobi’s error was poor.

No one has used him as a scapegoat, absolutely no one has said that we lost because of him. Calling a crap player crap after a crap performance is not “scapegoating”

I used to think others on the thread were a bit paranoid tbh. I'm not quite sure now. Fair enough many people are genuine, and Coleman isn;lt at his career best, but there's one or two sinister elements who get in this thread.

Gray, Maupay, Gordon, Gueye, Mykolenko all rated below Coleman on the BBC match report but it's down to him....our best value signing for decades and a real man...as opposed to the no marks and dullards who target him.

Coleman played poorly and we are allowed to say that. Gordon didn’t cost us any goals either but we’re still rightly calling him out in his thread for a terrible performance.

Came on here for the usual he's past it blah blah, if anyone thinks he was at fault today then you need to have a long look in the mirror.

It was brutal all round, but he wasn't even in the top 8 worse players today.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Frank go to a back 5 against Spurs - with Iwobi at RWB.

Said a lot tonight when Lampard took Coleman off, and probably more so, that he moved our most creative player to RB.

I love Seamus, he's been a great servant, but he's nearing the old yeller treatment.

No one is arguing that we lost the game because of errors from Coleman though?

not enjoying watching him play anymore. He didn’t do much wrong but Patterson is far better.

Really need Patterson back asap. A massive downgrade at this point unfortunately.

Coleman was by no means the worst of the bunch, but, we really miss Patterson. Coleman is very much Patterson's back up at this stage of his career, no matter what some posters would have you believe.
