At RB: we have Coleman who is almost 34 and recovering from a bad injury, and a lad with glass legs.

I've said since last January we need another RB in this squad, and so it turns out.

In January we need a new striker and a new RB.
Pending finances. Think striker then wide player before anything at the back.

Patterson fine to start and Coleman/Holgate/Godfrey to fill in when needed.

We're kidding ourselves here.

The RB situation cant be solved by Patterson if hes continually in the treatment room.

In any case, he's had as many games he cost us in as he's been an asset in.

Agreed

He won't play against spurs btw, I think he'll put iwobi RB and put doucoure or garner in the middle.

And that's exactly what I would do, I like Coleman but he's just not very good anymore, he's decent cover against certain teams, but not against rashford/Anthony and then son/Richy.

He cannot play again against one of the better teams

….he was terrific against Zaha in the crucial game v Palace at the end of last season. Indeed, it was Zaha who fouled Coleman resulting in the free kick from which DCL score THAT goal.

I’d much prefer Coleman playing RB against Spurs than anybody else who’s available.

Was he? The second goal came from Coleman losing the ball in a dangerous position.

He was abysmal on Sunday, he wasn't the only one but given who we are up against I don't think he'll start.
