Yes, I d expect Patterson to start versus Burnley due to the injuries to both senior players.

It's up to him to come in and not let anyone down.
Patterson genuinely didn’t today - we were getting somewhat bullied on that side when Young was on (not his fault, never been blessed for pace and it was his 3rd match in a week so understandable tired legs) but the overload wasn’t as obvious after Nathan’s substitution.

Don’t see why he would. Hasn’t let anyone down in his last few games

I don't want to see a positionally error-strewn performance against Burnley.

He needs to just play as a RB and do his job well. No ball watching or getting stranded upfield after attacking.

He's go a chance to stake a claim for a start and its up to him to nail it. If he doesn't grab this chance coming he'll be lucky to make the bench when Coleman and Young are back to fitness.

It’s quite remarkable the amount of players who come into the club and say how great a leader Seamus is

Don’t think I’ve seen it replicated at any other club
Tarks

“ We've had a tough couple of seasons, there's a unity here. We have a great leader in Seamus Coleman who marshalls the dressing room and I'm helping from the side, not seen anyone quite like him. We have characters in there, Pickford, Gueye, Calvert-Lewin but it's a group game and it showed today.”

For all his faults as a manager, you could tell Lampard was in awe of Seamus as a pro. Gets name dropped all the time as you say.

That image of him rallying the team from his stretcher at Brighton tells you who he is.
