Always had a good celebration in him

Back in your cave Zat, our new captain is going nowhere

Did he play well? fell asleep before kick off so will need to watch it later today.

I guess he has done a 'Kone' then...been poor for ages then put in a good performance which somehow makes him the best in the world...

Suddenly all the players are world class again lol

Not exactly sure what are you talking about, he is one of our best players this season.

Just watched the game. Terrific performance (as usual) from Seamus.

Some people don't appreciate what a top player he is.

I think we need to be more attacking to get the best out of him.

He is a great athlete and gets forward well and will always put a shift in.

His defending isnt the best (Thats not having a go at him either, its just how it is) so if we sit back and defend he will always be less effective.

I would have no objections to him being club captain.

Agreed. Real swash buckling lead by example style captain.

....the will and energy it takes to take up the position he did for his goal from open play should not be underestimated. Fine finish as well and an example for Barkley on awareness of where you are in relation to the goal and goalkeeper when you are around the 6 yard box.

His celebration and comments afterwards suggested he reads GOT and was aware what the fans have felt about the players. Top professional I reckon.

Been banging the Seamus for captain drum for some time now, love the passion, one of the few who always stands up to be counted. And I love the look of pure menace in his eyes when he scores, looks like he's ready to rip his shirt off and take someone on bare knuckle style.

He goes absolutely mental whenever he scores. I love it. My favorite was when he scored a rocket at Swansea. He then proceeded to slide into the advertising boards, where he promptly stood up and started kicking them.

... or Old Trafford (the Oviedo game) when he didn't know where the hell to run after Bryan's goal.
