Seamus Coleman

It never ceases to amaze me how you still get posters on here saying he's not good enough! I've been watching Everton for 55 years and he'd be in my best eleven for that period.

I didn't say Seamus was not good enough! Gana has, however, by far been our best player this season so far.

One of my favourite Everton players ever.

Queued in the snow for an hour at West Ham after a c*ck up over tickets a few years back. Nearly missed the entire first half but he still made it worthwhile bagging us a draw with a goal just as we finally got in! Solid, consistent. Looked a bit drained last season but over that now and setting a superb example for the new lads.

I'd honestly put in the same bracket as Irwin, Hart, McGrath, O'Leary, Brady, Sheedy. Can't think what more he could have done with his career given we've not been top 4 and Ireland barely top 25 for the time he's been at his best.

Great to have the free scoring Seamus back. The way Koeman has us set up suits his style of play. Would have thought he will end up with 6-7 goals this year from full back which helps take the burden off Lukaku. As someone else said he seems to get Everton and I cant imagine him playing for anyone else.

Seriously, ahead of some of the great right backs we've had !!
Tommy Wright. Gary Stephens. Remind me who else he has to compete with.

Both good players but so is Seamus. Not too outrageous a comment to make.

I'd probably have Seamus second in that group, but then again I've never forgiven Stephens for the 1996 cup final.
