See it in some guys they can't and won't ever play the game the same way because that horror is in the back of their mind. Seen it in basketball players and pigskin football. Will he ever go to ground to make a slide challenge again?

As a former Gaelic footballer, I'm sure he's used to getting his fair share of hefty knocks. Of course this is quite a severe one, but I reckon he'll take it all in his stride.
