I would put james mcarthy at right full when fit again, he has the pace , ability and agression to do a job there while sheamie is out.... a better option than stones for that position I think

We'll struggle to replace him in the team.

Thought he was naive for their goal though. He should have clattered Silva and took a yellow while they were on the break.
Spot on mate, Barry would have made a 'clumsy' contact in that situation and taken one for the team. Looks like he's out for a few weeks.

If it is 3 to 4 weeks he should be back for the return leg. It might be a good idea to give Stones a run out at full back with Jags inside.

Stones Jags Mori Baines.

Absolute must to get cover between now and next Wednesday (we should be ok for Saturday you'd think!).

Doubt we will though.

As i said in a previous thread mate, the cup game is the perfect chance to give Kenny a run out and just see if maybe he can step in whilst Coleman's out

Tbh I think Holgate will be the one he drafts in - or Pennington. Would hope that Holgate was always going to get the start on Saturday.

But I also think we'll see Stones shifted to right back for the time being. Or we'll see a 3-4-2-1 type formation, with Barry and Besic sitting and Lennon/Cleverley and Baines on either side - with Del and Barkley either side of Rom.

If he's out for a month - worth putting Galloway at right back? Another alternative is putting Stones at right back but that doesn't sit well with me.

No mate, square pegs round holes don't work. Jimmy Mac is a great player but he's not afull back.

Like it or not Hibbert if fit should go there, is he fit though and what RB cover do we have alternative.
