2017/18 Seamus Coleman

..I suppose it is some sort of justice that Ireland made it through to the play-offs given the injustice to Seamus Coleman.
Justice is done, as Taylor should never play for Wales again and I don't think he will. But thats as far as it goes: Ireland will make us all
fall asleep if they get through their playoff game. The World Cup should be the top 16 Countries in the world, too much rubbish in
there now. Do you honestly think that England would have qualified for the last 2 World Cups with Southgate & Hodgson at the helm.

All I can add to the thread is that I can't remember the last time that we awaited with such affection the return of a player from serious injury.
I know absence makes the heart grow fonder, but for a whole variety of reasons we've missed you Seamus.
See you soon.
In these troubles times regarding our performances and results, seamus' absence is being felt on and off the pitch in equal measure. Not only are we missing his footballing qualities, but also the passion he brings to the team with his play. Can't wait for his return.

All of what you say!
To be honest I was a bit self conscious about my original comments, as I thought I was going all RS.
But after watching a few You Tube vids, I stand by what I say.

Pleased for Coleman, but all Taylor did was make a tackle, some utter nonsense spouted amongst football fans, same lids who all laughed at Payet and west ham fans probably as well

You do have a point to be fair.James McCarthy is now a mocked and ridiculed figure with Everton fans. But he was made a hero with some people on here after that tackle.Anyway i can't wait to see Seamus firing on all cylinders for Everton and Ireland again.;)
