We've missed him more than any other player and I include the likes of Lukaku and Barkley in that statement.

But if this total excuse of a manager replicates what he did with Bolasie, and brings him back after just one hour long run out with the U23s, then it's total lunacy, even by his standards. The pace of the Leicester and Arsenal attack will totally expose his lack of fitness, and all the fans looking forward to the saviours return will get one massive reality check.

There's an U23 match against Chelsea tonight and that represents an ideal run out for him. What Seamus needs more than anything right now is game time, so the fact that he's in the squad for tomorrow nights game rather than the U23s means that Allardyce must be intending to play him, possibly from the start.

We have missed him massively while he has been injured and after waiting this long, it would be madness to throw him right back in the thick of it. Got to be brought back in very carefully, tactfully and slowly and in the right sort of games and let him build himself back up again. God knows what to expect with Sam Allardyce though. Wouldn't be surprised if he throws him in from the start against Leicester which would be absolute insanity.

It can’t be underestimated what a huge loss he’s been. As well as kenny has done, he doesn’t offer much going forward which has really hamstrung us attacking wise.

Don’t want to rush him back but he’ll be a huge boost

I would be surprised if he isn't in the managers/coaching staffs ear every day, wanting to play. He'll hound them until they give in.
