And if we waited a few more games and he still got injured on his return, what then? He's able to play, so play him. He won't get back to PL levels playing under-23 games and closed-door matches.

Fantastic character and influence on the team. Immediate lift to the first 11 after a horrific injury and a year lay off. So happy that he plays for Everton. Should be named as captain.

He has surprisingly looked excellent as always. We are a much better team with him on the pitch. It just goes to show you how much quality we were missing.
