And this is a lad who you reckoned shouldn’t have been given a new contract because he was injured , even though the deal was agreed just not signed.I don’t think it was too soon
It’s just as well the club have a bit more class than that.

Always had class. I hope the young lads come good, but some on here put them way way higher than they are or ever will beAlso if you go right through the Coleman threads, like most other players he’s took a lot of stick on this forum too at times. Luckily we know what he can do and stick by him whatever. We should remember this with all the younger players.
Some I’ve found and called out , others had hidden behind their profileIndeed:
@jinkyali, @d4kyxx, @BurnhamBlue, @Kev50 , @a bell maul, @moyeslovechild, you have been summoned before the court. Repent or be destroyed
Can someone remind me why the "should Coleman come straight back into the team when he's fit?" shouts were a thing?
Aye, your great accountant's insight would have had us fob off a loyal world class RB we bought for 60k as soon as he broke his leg.
So you think it’s right for a club to renege on a pre agreed deal just because the player gets injured
I’d be shocked if that lot in the pit done that never mind Everton
Football doesn’t work that way thankfully
Like comparing Cafu with HibbertIts been one game pal.
Fact of the matter is it was a huge risk giving an extensive contract to someone with a double broken leg. Would you be so keen if it was someone like Martina? No, didnt think so.
And as for world class...at times, very rarely.
Loyal? No footballer is loyal.

he needs to retire from international duty now. !
No you'e comparing offering a great injured player a contract with a terrible player. There is a differenceWhoever then. Someone who the lad doesnt rate. Its irrelevant.
There was no guarantee that he was ever going to be the same following that tackle, and for Everton to commit 15-20m to him on that basis was high high risk. I am delighted it looks like he’s back to his best but I would still query it if we did it again. And this is a lad who you reckoned shouldn’t have been given a new contract because he was injured , even though the deal was agreed just not signed.
