Respect to their feller.

He came into a basket case headed for the Championship and saved us.
Agreed.
I thought we were already gone when he took over from Frank Lampard and he did well to keep us up.

Did even better last Sean with two points deductions, no money to spend and a limited squad. 48 points was far better than I expected.

This season has been a disaster from the start which I don't understand.
We didn't lose any players, even brought in a few and yet we seemed utterly useless from the first game.
We never looked like scoring and even our defence which was so reliable last Sean has been uncertain , without Pickford we would be deep in relegation trouble.

His treatment of Jake O Brien in particular makes me think he was not in charge of transfers and didn't want to use players he didn't sign.
Either way I think his departure was inevitable. We simply are a very poor team at present, in attack and defence and that falls on the manager that we are as bad as we were when he took over.

My thanks for the good work he did but I think he may have been sacked sooner only for the uncertainty around the club.

No, not for me. If he'd been here for as long as Moyes I think we'd be watching the same 💩 .

Lost all the respect he had earned this season

Respect isnt infinite

Respect from me

He came in at possibly the worst point in our history, fans protesting against the board, the board making up lies etc. With Everton in the bottom 3 ahead of Arsenal at home. From the outside we must have a looked an absolute basket case and bound for relegation so fair play to him for coming.

Stayed through all the points deductions drama and delivered the best game I've ever been to with the derby win at Goodison. Sadly the season ended just as we found our feet and we just haven't been strong enough upfront this season hence a lack of goals and wins. Best of luck wherever he goes next, unless it's a Prem club 👌

Won't be anything to do with him if we get relegated. If we get relegated now it's all on the Freidkin group. We would not have gone down if the stuck with him till the season end. If we end up with Mourinho I expect disaster with this squad.
Not totally sure I can agree with that - he has to take some responsibility for the woeful points tally up until now. I'm one who thinks he's done a decent job but he's also been a little lucky in that the threshold for surviving has been easier over the last two seasons. Nevertheless, I wish him well.

That makes no sense tbh.
He was manager from the start of the season until mid January and we are in a relegation battle.

I would argue that it would have been the fault of TFG if Sean Dyche was left in charge and we were then relegated.
Given all we have heard in the last couple of days that was even more likely than we before.

I remember posting some weeks ago that I thought the players were not playing for the manager, people said I was wrong and certainly there were some decent draws since I said that mixed with poor results.
However I do now think the squad was divided in supporting him.

Thank you, Sean, for your strong leadership over the most difficult period in our history. You were hired to do a Sean Dyche job, and you did it with a clear way of playing which made it very simple for everyone to understand. You got Calvert-Lewin fit after we thought he was written off, and we won the derby to give us something to cheer about. You kept us alive when we should have been out for the count. 🙌

I’ve supported you all the way through, as I will always be blindly loyal to anyone who chooses Everton. It’s my club, and we’re together in battle. I thought Bournemouth at home was such a turning point. I sat in the park end, 2-0 up with my two young sons, thinking this was the best football I had seen for a long time as you tried something more progressive. I fell in love with. I can’t deny our number 10 his name is Illiman N’Diaye, but circumstances, freak mistakes, and some senior players let you down that day. You reverted to what you know, which was a shame because it turned out being the wrong thing to do. 😔

Good luck with what you do next, but please don’t go to a relegation rival this season. Please wait until next year when we are safely in the top 6.

He does read these, doesn’t he? 🤷‍♂️

There should be a appreciation thread for every Evertonian who has had to sit there week in week out to watch what his team produces.

Appreciate what exactly? if it was not for Pickford or 3 other teams slightly worse than us we would be with your Coventry or Preston now.

He has broken lots of records for the wrong reasons, he has once a great stadium that used to have a great atmosphere turn into old people's rest home.

He has just walked away with £2.5 mil
So NO Appreciation from me
