He got us defending properly again, for that he deserves a lot of credit in my opinion.

It's just that he wasn't capable of anything more at us really, budget constraints notwithstanding.

Respect to their feller.

He came into a basket case headed for the Championship and saved us.

Kept us up twice have no problem with him just the time was right to move him on, did what we needed him to do was never a manager to move us forward. Had alot worse managers over the last few years, just happy is gone was getting toxic we all needed a change. Has been a good job for him as will be looked at by others in the future.

Time will tell if this was a good sacking or not. But I honestly can’t see anyone getting us further up the table than 15th even next season with this group of players.

Hated him from day one. Grudgingly gets a bit of respect for keeping us up after Lampard. Last season nah it was the easiest season ever in the prem to stay up. This season diabolical and no excuses. Should have gone in October and would have done had new owners been here then.

Correct. I wouldn’t begrudge him a bit of respect, but he should have been moved on earlier, certainly before Xmas
