you when brown shoes went?

Yawn. Boring this now.

We spent money and improved the squad in the summer. That we sold Onana for £50m, a player he wanted nothing to do with, really isn’t relevant at all. We kept hope of DCL and Branthwaite who everyone was saying were our most important players. We are stronger than we were last season when we finished 12th, and now we’re back dragging ourselves back down into a dogfight.
We're not able to compete in the market tho. We can only do deals for players who teams will accept staggard payments for.

Dragging ourselves into a dogfight by being unbeaten in 5?

I think in the final analysis with Dyche - it’s just a simply question of whether you think he should have this group of players playing better as a team than they are. Remove all the ‘noise’ around the club, should he be coaching and training them every day of the week on the training ground, to better performances - I think yes.

Therefore certainly this season (even if we acknowledge the points haul of last) he is not delivering on what he is paid to deliver. The players look like strangers and regardless of what we think of them, it can’t be enjoyable playing under Dyche.

yep. the whole football aspect of it all

is dyche and his anti football

He’s a symptom of what Everton is , no point sacking him , the club needs sorting out first.

….he was asked about that on telly tonight, especially as he played it at Burnley and he suggested he hasn’t got the personnel to do it here.

There might be something in him saying; ‘I like the way Fulham have recruited’, suggests to me he’s at odds with Thelwell.

If he said that then , he’s full of it

We absolutely have players who can do that. It’s the easiest style of football that you can play
We essentially played that way for 15 minutes today and we immediately looked better for it

I mean of all the things that Beto doesn’t do that well, I’m not sure defending limitations are near the top of that list?!

The blokes off his head! Does DCL defend any better?!

And actually I’d quite like my strikers to score goals Sean. DCL currently does neither.

Clueless

Dyche on how Beto claim a starting spot "Just continue learning and get to a point where he understands the PL... The game's changed now, centre-forwards have to defend. They're important factors & he's got to continue learning that as well as scoring goals"
