2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Unfortunately, I think that once the takeover is completed (hopefully very soon) they will give Dyche a handful of matches to prove himself. I hope I'm wrong, but I think a manager switch is much more likely at the end of December, beginning of January.

The earlier we can do it the better. 7 wins since last December, the dross served up weekly, the waffling garbage he comes out with, no team or player development, poor team selections, dreadful in game management, he has to go ASAP.

The Friedkins must have some names lined up. It would give the new manager sometime to work with the squad, strengthening where possible in January, and again/overhaul come the summer.

So our next 5 games are:

West Ham (a)
Brentford (h)
Man U (a)
Wolves (h)
Liverpool (h)

Does he survive this run? if not which game gets him the sack?
This team is due a good hiding, so hopefully that'll happen just when the takeover is completed.

It'll be two or three to West Ham on Saturday. Maybe things will line up nicely with the international break and the new man can start strong at home to Brentford.

As I said mate. All about opinions. I'm not convinced he's a top, top manager or anything, but he's decent enough. You're missing the point though. People had the pitchforks at the ready when he was heavily linked with us. Now a poster is holding him up as a shining light.

One thing I'm absolutely certain of though, is that I bet most people now wish we'd appointed him instead of Benitez or Lampard, and no doubt Dyche too. Nuno has more than proved himself a very capable manager. Is he a top top manager? probably not, but once again, a lot of fans, and their opinions, were wrong.
Is this Nuno you're talking about?

I've taken a fair bit of ridicule on here for suggesting him in the past, which I always found strange.

Forget Dyche for a second. The club itself needs to get something from it as the run of fixtures from liverpool onwards 7th dec right to 25th jan is horrendous. I struggled to see a win within those dates.

He seemed a dead man walking from the start at Spurs. It was like they appointed him and then immediately regretted it because they realised Conte was gettable.

Their fans never wanted him either. He actually got off to a good start at Spurs, got sacked after losing 5 out of 7 and placed 9th in the table.

You're almost certainly right about the Conte thing. Spurs managed to lose 3-0 at home to united, sack Nuno, and appoint Conte in the space of 24 hours...

WH to beat us by 2 or 3? Haven't they been a bit rubbish recently...???

or are you working on the - a team needs a win, or a striker needs a goal... Everton will roll over into town for you???

Suspect a close game a goal either way... hopefully 1-0 for us!"
