It's the set up which I find unacceptable.
Yesterday he set up exactly how we did against Southampton away, Fulham at home, Spurs away, Brighton at home etc.
He doesn't have an alternative. It's like playing Man City every week, regardless of opposition. It's rigid, there's no fluidity, no patterns of play where you can say "that's something they've worked on at the training ground".
It really is "your best work will be off the ball because your crap on it, so get it as far away from our goal as quickly as we can and win a set piece".
It's rancid, putrid, mind numbing football and every game that passes shows him up for what he is which is a yard dog coach better suited to the Championship or League 1.
When he first joined he said he's a marmite manager where 50% will love him and 50% will hate him. He'd be lucky to find 20% of support for what he's served up.
Football is about winning matches and he simply doesn't win anywhere near enough of them. So every time he comes up with excuses and bull, if I was a reporter I'd be saying "you've only won 2 games Sean this season and it seems to be something you really struggle with as a manager"
He rambled on saying yesterday's point was a good stepping stone to heading towards getting wins. But how is that? Just empty words and soundbites is all he has.
He needs replacing because if we continue with him until the end of the season, we'll be knee deep in a relegation scrap.
