As well they should, he took over from Lampard, the worst of the worst and took us through an extremely difficult time last year. It's becoming evident he isn't the manager to move us forward, but there's no reason not to thank someone for hard work and achieving what was desired, perhaps other than bitterness or some weird desire to be right on the Internet.A survival season constructed through his poor management.
Yet people want to thank him for it
This would be the ideal scenario - survive and with a healthy margin - but is heavily conditional on where we land EOY after the takeover is completed.Survive this season, a pleasant shake of hands and thank you for solid service in turbulent times and a parting of ways.
Did you thank Lampard for keeping us up?As well they should, he took over from Lampard, the worst of the worst and took us through an extremely difficult time last year. And they all seem to be in this threadIt's the set up which I find unacceptable.
Yesterday he set up exactly how we did against Southampton away, Fulham at home, Spurs away, Brighton at home etc.
He doesn't have an alternative. It's like playing Man City every week, regardless of opposition. It's rigid, there's no fluidity, no patterns of play where you can say "that's something they've worked on at the training ground".
It really is "your best work will be off the ball because your crap on it, so get it as far away from our goal as quickly as we can and win a set piece".
It's rancid, putrid, mind numbing football and every game that passes shows him up for what he is which is a yard dog coach better suited to the Championship or League 1.
When he first joined he said he's a marmite manager where 50% will love him and 50% will hate him. He'd be lucky to find 20% of support for what he's served up.
Football is about winning matches and he simply doesn't win anywhere near enough of them. So every time he comes up with excuses and bull, if I was a reporter I'd be saying "you've only won 2 games Sean this season and it seems to be something you really struggle with as a manager"
He rambled on saying yesterday's point was a good stepping stone to heading towards getting wins. But how is that? Just empty words and soundbites is all he has.
He needs replacing because if we continue with him until the end of the season, we'll be knee deep in a relegation scrap.
Media loves him because he speaks well and generally has time for them, they would never stir things up for him.Why do the interviewers/reporters after matches always blow smoke up his arse with false statements like the motd one. Comments like you are looking like good solid Everton with 1 defeat in 7 games.
Break the games down and probably ipswich aside we havent looked solid at all. The loss in there is to the worst side in the league with no wins and pickfords saved us in at least 3 of them.
Its lazy reporting and gives him this reputation that his sides are solid when they're not.
From listening to various podcasts that have journalists, sharing views, they have conveyed in a very gentle manner, Dyche is known tit if you ask questions he does not like and will harbor vendetta against journalists. Why do the interviewers/reporters after matches always blow smoke up his arse with false statements like the motd one. Might there be a gap between some of our forum posters and real match going Evertonians? It's telling there's no big discontent/calls for his sacking at the match.
Nobody is coming in now, not with our current ownership.
There's a reason the shortlist was so piss poor when Lampard was sacked.
That shortlist hasn't got any better, and won't until ownership is resolved.
Great banter, another half wit who financially supports a cranks forum because absolutely no one listens to him in real life@tirion you home yet mate?
