2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Disagree mate. We make a number of scoring chances in most games that are let down by quality in the final third in execution.

Had hoped we may have added in the summer, but its the same problem.

We are really competitive in games, dominating many and cant finish.

Also if we are doing comparisons with other team you also have to look at net spend - we sold all our best attackers and replaced them with cheaper options.

Wish our issue was a one issue decision like sacking the manager, unfortunately i dont think it is.

We've a midtable team, with a bottom 4 attack.
Love to know our XG for all
The games this season id guess for more than half the games its under 1. It was yesterday Gutted I may have to search this,
Last season dyche told us this in every presser.

When you create very little as a team, fans will start to see a 20 yard blocked shot as a good chance. Were are we in table for big chances created, I’d be amazed if we’re mid table. Having 2/3 decent chances a game is not good enough

What I don't get about the idea that Dyche is so obviously bad (and Lampard, Ancelotti, Benitez, Silva, Koeman, Martinez etc. before him) - why isn't a replacement so obvious ? Isn't the reality that he is an average lower-half PL manager ?

My imagination and football watching is limited to Moyes and Potter of those available - I'd be concerned on Potter trying to change our ways in a relegation battle without a host of new players - but perhaps I'm wrong.

I am sure that a decent manager this season would get more out of the squad than Dyche does, last season probably not.

We wouldn't look very good to watch under Moyes for example, but surely have a few points more, same as with managers like Iraola, Frank or Silva.

It's telling there's no big discontent/calls for his sacking at the match.

Nobody is coming in now, not with our current ownership.

There's a reason the shortlist was so piss poor when Lampard was sacked.

That shortlist hasn't got any better, and won't until ownership is resolved.
You been the game recently? I saw a real change in the crowd vs Fulham, people are really starting to get frustrated

Fill your boots. https://understat.com/team/Everton/2024

We create far more then we execute.

Don't know how anyone can watch us and say we are excellent chance convertors.

From listening to various podcasts that have journalists, sharing views, they have conveyed in a very gentle manner, Dyche is known tit if you ask questions he does not like and will harbor vendetta against journalists.

I dont usually get involved in this particular thing but its so misleading. If you were not following Everton you'd think oh 1 loss in 7. They must be ok. Of that 7 four are in the bottom 6 and within that 7 we have given the worst team in the league by a distance their only 3 point haul. What i find a bit bemusing is he stands there and laps up the praise from the reporter like he's actually doing a really great job lol.

There's been frustration at Goodison since Ancelotti before Christmas mate.

In the past there's been banners, protests, very vocal calls for managerial sackings.

At the match now, there's;

... because fans know, we don't have an owner who can make that call.

Fans also know, a new owner will be in soon.

Dyche 4/5 years ago would have been long chased out.
