Is that cause you believe we were paying him £250k a week?He was binned in an effort to meet PSR. What don't people get ?
Its likely that he will never play him as a 10 now, because he's been asked about it. The stubbornness wont allow it.
For a team that struggles for goals, we've got a left footed right winger, a left winger as a 10 and a 10 as a left winger! But Sean knows best, ffs.
Naturally, we had to salary match him to DCL's wage after all.Is that cause you believe we were paying him £250k a week?
Apparently there’s more evidence to suggest Michael Keane can go up front for 10 minutes than there is to suggest Iliman Ndiaye can play a game behind the striker. The fella is a deadly cocktail of pig headedly arrogant and utterly clueless. I believe every fixture we leave him in charge for is points thrown down the drain from this point, he is finished here.
He was talking about Ndiaye as a number 10 and the main focus was defending and "blocking passing lanes" No Sean the main focus for a number 10 is to create chances for the striker and let the opposition think about you and how they will stop you.Apparently there’s more evidence to suggest Michael Keane can go up front for 10 minutes than there is to suggest Iliman Ndiaye can play a game behind the striker. Even Carlo had Gylfi closing passing lanes down mate. It was the bit of his game that fans never quite got to grips with, or should I say give him credit for. He never tackled anybody like, just blocked off lanes and pointed to tell other people were to go.
Defending in a straight line up and down the touchline is a different kettle of fish.
I'd personally like to see him tried behind the striker, or on the right, the manager has made a tactical judgment on him though, and if he genuinely believes that he will struggle with the off the ball bits and/or positioning, then it's the correct call.
Not really you could pack the midfield and play 3 CMs and let him have a free role so he doesnt have to defend as much, and let him do his stuff creating havoc running at their defence.Sounds good in theory, but the reality is, you have to play a high line for that sort of strategy to work, otherwise you end up with massive holes in the structure.

You could do that if the FBs were allowed to cross the halfway line (to give us width) but Dyche doesnt want that.
Yeah, you could do that. You leave the fullbacks isolated in that set up though, and need full backs who can get up and down the pitch comfortably.
The problem with Dyche amongst many other things is that his attacking players priority is to defend! Thats wrong and that's why why we struggle to create and break teams down.Yeah, you could do that. We’ve got a right back who can get up and down the pitch but he’s sat on the bench not allowed any game time because the manager has decided his face doesn’t fit.
