2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

The difference is that United’s players are a lot better than ours. A lot. People can say they’re crap but they’re individually not. They have a huge upside that a manager could unlock.

I don’t think these players do. They can play a bit better than they are at the moment as we saw last season but the other thing about poor players is they’re inconsistent. They’ll give you a performance one week then be terrible the next.

So I think we could have played better this season absolutely but I don’t think that there’s a huge improvement waiting to be unlocked from these players I genuinely don’t, not consistently at least, there might be a bounce here and there but they’ll fall back to a bottom half mean because the sure very average to poor prem players.
So to summarise. Dyche gets the credit when we win, the players fault when we lose.

Is that cos we appointed 3 very, very, very bad managers do you think?
Its exactly this, ive said this i don't know how many times before when people say "we cant keep sacking managers' Yes we can and we should!

There should be more thought in the hiring of managers.
Instead of looking who's available with PL experience do some due diligence for once, think outside the box.

Hopefully TFG will be hiring a Manager not just based upon experience and achievements but on the footballing philosophy they want to instil for progressing the club forward.

After over 100 years at Goodison everyone should be going the games cruising through this season looking forward to the odd big scalp at home, The last derby, the last time we will play Utd at goodison, Arsenal, Villa...

Under this fella we cant even enjoy it or more to the point nobody wants to even go the game, many are only going out of habit or ritual.

He has sucked the life out of enjoying the game itself but also enjoying watching us.

There is absolutely nothing to like or enjoy about him and this Everton team, nothing.
He is level par with Benitez for me as the worst manager to ever manager this club and i cant wait to see the back of him.

The TFG appear to be a forward looking outfit who are investing a fortune in the Club, it further appears they are about to carry out a systematic change to every aspect of the club, does anyone with two brain cells think that they are going to do all this and hand their vision over to Sean Dyche. I can’t picture the meeting where the new power brokers who are coming into the club lay out their aspirations for Everton and then decide the man they are looking for is an outdated, defensive minded, player assaulting throwback who’s biggest single idea is”gaffer’s day”.

The derby is likely my last game at goodison. It’ll be great/sad for lots of reasons, but am I looking forward to watching the actual match? With the expected tactics and recent performances, not at all. And that’s sad for a different reason.

Anyone who is only just getting sick of going to the game has evidently got a lot more patience than me. I've had a season ticket for 30 years and i've probably really enjoyed about 2 games a year in that time! It's always been about a habit and ritual surely, anyone who's been going purely for entertainment in recent years must have pretty low standards for passing the time.
