2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Didnt Lampard do the same but was given the bullet the next season.

If we had people who gave a toss the same pattern would of happened to Dyche last season when we went 3 months without winning a game.

I think people who make excuses for him need to give their head a wobble.
Didn't Lampard also do it with a game to spare whereas Dyche was 20 mins away on the final day of that first season.

I'm not making excuses for him, I want him gone ASAP, my point is the level of vitriol towards him is undeserved and unbecoming.
I personally think its deserved, he is digging at the players and the club even the fans with the 'noise' shouts

He hasnt held his hand up once to anything
He constantly bleats about before he was here, Well he didnt have to take the 5mil salary did he, he knew what he was coming into.

He has every player out of form even our steady eddie players like Tarks and Branthwaite

There is nothing to like about his tenure here imo, nothing.

The football is the worst ive ever seen at this level, its horrific.

The rest aren’t cheap mate, look at their squad! Littered with 20m~ signings, and they’ve signed well as well (recently).

Their owner is a basket case but they must have someone fairly competent in their recruitment dept.

Forest have spent loads, Brentford have, Bournemouth have, West Ham have, Brighton have - we’re miles behind here.
Starting 11 stop moving the goalposts, read what I said it’s not difficult. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Brighton have pulled in 300mil in sales the previous 2/3 years, to them spending this summer. First game of the season our back 5 cost 70mil Brightons was under 10.
Bournemouth and Brentford have spent a bit yes but it’s not fortunes, and we still have a bigger wage bill.

The one thing everyone forgets is 4/5 years ago we had the 7th most expensive squad and wage bill, yrs we’ve had to sell the last few years and cut out cloth accordingly, but we haven’t come up from the championship.

Last 5 years
Everton plus 30mil on transfers
Brighton minus 44mil
Brentford minus 112mil they came into the prem at the start of them 5 years
Bournemouth minus 150mil and the first season of them 5 we’re spent in the championship

When you consider Everton were the 7th team in the prem on spending and wages. I’d say the 70mil difference with Brighton is small change.

Whats the point having this convo if you’re just going to make up your own numbers?

Their starting 11 did cost more as well.

The only thing i can think of that was anywhere close is the olex29 Beto goal against Newcastle - one of my favourite recent Everton goals really, not sure how much Dyche had to do with it though! 🤣

Your spot on with all the rest, if we weren’t a zombie club the man would have been booted after the Bournemouth debacle.
