There's definitely fewer of them now, and the ones that remain have started adjusting their rhetoric, presumably in a forlorn hope that the vaults will be kinder to them than if they kept up the full throated defence. It's only really @Saint Domingo , @Neiler and @GrandOldSte117 flying the flag these days. Unless you count @davek, but we know he's just a contrarian.

It happens time and time again to. They are so far behind the curve on these things. Eventually the penny drops for them and they realise what everyone realised months earlier.

if Everton win 6-0 on wed I still want this clown gone, doesn't change anything.

we won't though best we can hope for is that Wolves don't score and we get a point
Yeah I agree, his time is up. Just reckon it might be hard to hand him his marching orders after a win.

But yeah, it’ll be more dross on Wed. I’m starting to resent my boy asking me if we can watch the match together. It’s like pulling teeth!

Whats the point having this convo if you’re just going to make up your own numbers?

You told me all these clubs have spent 100’s of millions more than us and I’ve just showed you it’s not the case. You can show me as many pictures as you like.
Brighton in 5 years are spending 8.5mil a season and have finished 9th twice , 6th and are currently 4th it’s called good recruitment and getting in good managers. We’ve appointed terrible managers and had poor recruitment.

Go back 5 years and our squad would have cost 300mil more than the likes of Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth and Forest. You don’t need to spend half a billion to challenge the top 6. It’s myth being Peddled by dyche and his lackey’s

People put too much emphasis on net spend.

Look who is bottom of the 'net' spend league.
Man City

Net spend is load of bollocks, Liverpool sold Coutinho for 120mil and i think they got VVD record for transfer for a CB and Allison i think was record transfer for GK, are they stronger for that, absolutely.
On paper it looks like they will have spent nothing because of the 120mil sale.

CC Richard Masters.
Yeah you’ve got to spend within your means, but acting like you can’t improve while doing so is disingenuous.

Make one big sale, and buy 3 or 4 players with that money, and you improve the squad overall. But you could still be in profit.

Even after selling some of our better assets (apart from Richie, they were arguable at the time anyway as Gordon didn’t exactly pull up trees here and Onana was made more of a squad player end of last season), we are still sitting here with Englands number 1 and a player we are asking north of £70m for.

Moshiri isn't sacking him this close to completion and I'm not sure i would even want him too tbh. The guy has never got a decision right since he owned us. Better if TFG sort everything out now. Hopefully they will be in very soon.
