2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Another El Dychio Evletico performance.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City with their Billion pound squads can’t beat us. Unbeaten in 4.

Players playing for their shirts with pride. Pulled clear of the relagation zone after a terrible start.
New owners coming. Potential investment in January.
Dyche continuing to hold fort effectively until the new owners manager comes in.

Can only assume it’s forced time with the kids that’s got so many rattled on here.
We are closer to the relegation zone then we where,

Was at 5 points gap now 3

People seem to be trying to portray a draw against an out of form Man City side, as some sort of loaves and fishes type miraculous achievement.

Overall its been a fabulous last 4 games.

Are you a Mangala fan corky? His disciples seem to love him in his thread and hate Dyche in this one...

I have heard* that his footballing icons are, in no particular order...

Jan Molby
Thomas Brolin
Andre Gomes
Tom Huddlestone

Could any of them play in a high press that the 'Detesters of Dyche' want to see ?

Now that would be a "loaves and fishes" moment...

*i've heard no such thing :o

They’re a case of Geordieitis broke out in a pocket of fans on here, otherwise known as entitled delusion. Look at the threadbare squad devoid of full backs, wingers, a midfield two that works as a two, and a striker who can score goals. It’s the product of years of poor ownership and managers.

The only goal at the moment is getting to the new stadium in the Premier League so it can be commercialised properly, that’s the time to jib Dyche, not when a pragmatist is getting it over the line to that point. One wrong move now from a depleted talent pool of managers and a squad of mostly has been and inadequates stop putting in a shift against much better teams like they’ve done the past few games, and those clean sheets go, turning one point into zeroes. You might remember that from the likes of Lampard before. If Dyche looks like getting cut off at the bottom then yes that’s the time to gamble new manager bounce. Now? Hold your nose for the greater good or just avoid them you texans.

It won’t stop the Geordies being unprepared to suck up half a season because they want their entertainmwnt though, or because their misplaced Everton idealism dodgers were a laughing stock of a club who hasn’t won a pot in three decades. Give them that free flowing football with dross though! They know how to do it better than Sean Dyche!

I don’t think any Everton particularly likes the football and I’d like to see some pace added in January to see if that solid base at least can yield a few more points with players who can be a danger on the counter. You seen the problem last night with a four on two at the end and Everton just broke down like a mark two Escort on the motorway. I can’t see any manager available now that can fix that, it’s a player issue.

Hope everyone who celebrates is having a lovely holidays. Great site lads, up the Toon.

Would anyone be against a new 5 year deal for Dyche?

Some stability?
Backed up with some major upgrades player-wise, I don’t see why not.
Considering what he has managed so far with 2.5 players, a squad full of injuries and imposters, and without a functioning striker. He’d certainly have us top half and pushing for Europe. What more can we expect given we are seriously outgunned financially by most of the rest of the league due to decades of incompetent amateurs on the board mismanaging the club?
