2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Maybe this is the next phase @Billy Dean

So our players have been able to go toe to toe in 3 consecutive matches against 3 of the best teams in the country. Conceding just once in those games and could have genuinely won two of them.

Yet we are gasdyched continually by being told that we shouldn’t expect anything from them because they are all awful players and it’s inconceivable to expect us to go to teams like Southampton and win because what is Dyche expected to do with “these players”.
Shows how inadequate Dyche is in critiquing himself. Was literally telling us what can we expect with results against Bournemouth Southampton Man Utd... Most know we were better, some cap doffers believe otherwise no point analysing. These recent games and performances should be the minimum now given time in charge, instead it's upturn in form!

The next 8-10 games i think are huge.

This is blip territory from last season, were we went from January to almost April. We have to do better then that.

These are the games we struggle with, the ones we have an identity crisis with whether to play as we have done or be more open and go for wins and get caught caught on the counter - especially at home.

There is a real opportunity to cut Leicester adrift over the next few - we need to take it.

Have to say I'm more nervous and apprehensive heading into this "easier run" - i think these are the game we suffer an identity crisis and struggle with.

Hopefully the chance to strengthen even just a little bit will negate this as we can't afford a repeat of last season like you say.

Difference this year is we haven't had that positive winning reaction to the points deduction like last year- we are tootling along picking up unexpected draws, but wins are few and far between. Forest next is massive

Think fitness is starting to show.

Don't think it's a coincidence we/Sean Dyche has terrible starts, and decent Decembers.

Ultimately though, as Dyche has acknowledged - 3 wins and 15 goals in 17 games isn't good enough - he/we expected more wins. Small margins, see out Bournemouth or Beto score the sitter vs Southampton and we're sitting quite content. While I'll have taken being above the bottom 3 going into January under new owners, it's crucial we invest, ideally from Wednesday.

The 4 on 2 break at the end summed up the attacking capabilities of these players.

Let’s be honest, there’s only Ndiaye who is actually any real threat.

Harrison is just a work horse and Lindstrom looks a bit Nicolas Alexandersson.

I’m ok with midfield especially when Garner and Tim become available again. Need to do some wheeling and dealing in the January window to freshen things up and offer a bit more of a threat.

A new left back wouldn’t go amiss either.

Think we all expected to lost 3 or 4 nil in all 3 games and be in the bottom 3, thankfully we arnt, the 3 games just gone suit Dyche to the ground, defend deep and that’s it, next few games where we are expecting more then to get hammered are where he struggles
