Successful teams didn’t buy 33 year old Gareth Barry. That’s the difference. I also said a player like James McCarthy.

You’re suggesting we keep buying slow central midfielders? You may as well have been on the Everton board the last 30 years because you have clearly learned nothing of our struggles in that period.

Let’s not replicate what worked for us in a season of 72 points, and instead replicate what’s failed us miserably for best part of three decades. What an absolute genius you are, a slow 32 year old midfielder is just what this team needs. Couldn’t make it up. Is that you Denise?
We had one of the fastest players in the league at CM last season and he couldn’t wait to get away from this manager.

And we put on 12 more points than the previous season and sold him to Villa for 50 million. Thankyou for proving my point. Maybe we should buy more of these?

Yeah but let’s wait until we stop signing poor managers who chase out our better and faster players.

Dyche ‘chased him out’ then?

What an absurd reach.

Nothing to do with our PS&R position, our literal cash flow position, player ambition to plays or where better.

No you categorically know it was big bad Sean Dyche who played him in almost every league game he was fit starting the majority of them.

It's been a constant theme now where a striker will get the ball on the break and no one is remotely close to provide support I get you want to protect against a quick counter but once again what is the point of going on the break if you point person is completely isolated other than to kill time for a draw? Broja in the arsenal, wolves and city game was stranded several times while by himself In the other teams half did a solid job holding up the ball only time it made a difference was the wolves game when lindstrom was accompanying him

Jep, it's been a problem, but I think Broja handled these situations much better than DCL at least, especially on the right side, where we have snail Harrison.

I feel at times it's not only the tactics, but also feel the players aren't really arsed.

Onana only ever saw us as a stepping stone, he's on record as saying the style of football Emery plays suits him better but to say he was chased out of the club is silly. He had a monetary value, a club offered it and he willingly accepted the move. No chasing out at all.
Had a terrible game yesterday. Directly at fault for Newcastle's third.

Maybe Dyche knew something.

you have chased out in the sense of your man Benitez chasing out Digne (who you referred to earlier) and James.

And you have chased out in the sense of playing such dog awful football that players don’t want to be here. (Only have to read his comments about the coaching)

Yeah theres psr (even though we haven’t seen the accounts for last year yet so don’t actually know so you can’t categorically know that)

Inappropriate Behaviour

Again you can’t ever see what a muppet you’re. You actually brought up
McCarthy and Barry not me
And your words not mine “ we need to buy another McCarthy “ again just highlights your standards. Im not suggesting buying another 33 year old Barry, but even at that age he was better than McCarthy

I’ve been supporting Everton 50yrs and McCarthy wouldn’t get close to the best 25 centre mids I’ve seen at Everton
We just have different mentalities 👍

I’d take Christmas off mate…you’ve gone right off the deep end.

It’s not PS&R influencing whether players leave, it’s someone posting on an internet forum? Jesus Christ. Even for you this is up there.

Tell me you're not so naive to think managers choose to sell their better players. They have been sold to meet the cash & PSR demands the club have faced going all the way back to Rodriguez, Digne etc.
