2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Will an interesting watch today, we need to do more than against the last 3 games, because Forest is also a team that defends at first and then lets the opponent come and not really willing to take the initiative.

No, many people don't have issue with the last 4 games at all, that was more what 95% expected, but the problem were the games agains Brentford, Southampton etc, it's where we expect more in terms of style and also results.

If I look this starting eleven, we should be able to be above 15th. It's not a very good squad, but not one to be in a direct relegation battle.

United are 14th...theres a few above us like West Ham that have spent significantly more...i think Brighton spent a lot last summer?

I`m not sure what your point is TBF, we haven`t spent alot so Dyche is doing a superb job?

Tarkowski you say is £0 but we pay him £100k a week, yes we didn`t have the outlay but we pay that in his wages, no way would he ever command that type of wage usually, I suppose Real Madrid got Mbappe for £0, the same inflated signing on fees would also have been paid.

We still have a top 10 wage bill, does that mean he is under performing with said players? Jack Harrison earns £90k a week, but you say he is £0...

Not sure what you are trying to get at but it seems a really weird way to defend a failed manager.... quite why you are is a mystery, every poll I`ve seen is over 90% Dyche Out so why not ask yourself why you are in the very small minority, I suspect because you are wrong to be backing this manager.

If your suggestion to get Sean Dyche up to performing in mid table is to spend on new players why don`t we spend our way out of trouble with a proven manager like Mourinho and to a much much much higher level.

This club will not move forward with Dyche at the helm and I hope we don`t find out his track record for his entire career tells me he is not good enough for any team that have any sort of ambition.

I`ve never declared that I`m anything, that you dreamed up in your head but for you to support a manager that is holding the team back must suggest you want that.... but what is your agenda here? Why don`t you want better for the club?

Youre ranting at me for posting factual fees that players cost?

Are you not going to post the 3 teams we just drew with or the one we beat to compare?

Or fancy having a cry and a moan at nothing more than fairies in your dreams?

If you dont understand how greater funds helps to build a team then perhaps get back in your box?

@Zatara @twoblue Why are we not 11th with the 11th highest wage bill? Why are we not above Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton, Forest and Fulham...

It's the sad fact that basically all of the clubs have done a better transfer business than us and this in combination with a better manager have them above us.

It's actually unbelievable that we pay Harrison 90k, Doucoure above 100k, DCL 100k, when other squads can have 2 of their best players for 50-60k

Ndiaye in comparison our best attacking player this season is on 45k.

Jep, there have been 2-3 managers this seasons that did a worse job than Dyche in the league, and they all already have been sacked.

Dyche won`t get another PL club, he isn`t good enough, why was he out of a job for so long before mad man Moshiri came to him?

I can only assume your agenda is because you have skin in the game... are you part of Dyche entourage? Why do you wnat this club held back?
🚨 wow 🚨
We beat wolves, had three draws against 3 teams regular challenge for major honours.
I can only assume you have an agenda, or the pharmacy is shut over Christmas.
I don’t even mind if he leaves now he has completed the remit.

Guardiola
Postecoglu
Lopetegui

Have had worse seasons in comparison to expectations.

Lets see if we can enjoy a good result today.

Can say so, but I thought of Ten Hag, O Neil and Martin in terms of expectation of the squad. But add the other 3 with Dyche on the list.

Jep, probably take a deeper looks on to the single squads and how much top performers earn, and you will be shocked that this is not rarely less than Holgate or Keane.

Kevin did a pretty solid job there were many old burdens from the first Moshiri years. I think we reached a sum we can afford and we will have much more space with losing some top earners in summer.

If I did a combined eleven + bench of all these squads you mentioned above, not many Everton players would be on there. I hope you agree with that.

I think it is amazing that Thelwell has done a good job reducing the wage bill and we shed alot on players that were no use yet we still have a wage budget that is 11th highest in the league...

But still a long way to go.

I`m not of the opinion the amount spent or amount you pay in salary dictates where you should be after teams like Brighton and Brentford bust that myth. On the other side of the coin look at City and Utd....

I was purely pointing out that our manager is doing a poor job on what I see, the numbers he is pulling and the fact I`ve never been less arsed to watch the rubbish he serves up every week.

Fresh start and I hope TFG bring in a manager who will excite us again and allow us to dream, this club can be so much more but we are being held back on the pitch, that kinda matters being as we are a football club.

Yes, you probably read most of my posts that I say the overall this season should be that we are around the Brentford/Spurs mark, it's as good as I think this squad is properly coached.

And as you said, we could have a half squad upheaval in summer and probably will have, the squad with the long term contracts is a good basis the build up on, but it's still a long way to the position, where I want Everton to see. And for me, I cannot judge anything that happened before 2005.
