2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

There is better quality out there available to us than ever before, I`ve been looking around as I`m sure the majority in here have and I`d defo not want any former Everton players, I think we need a clean slate....

Getting Andoni from Bournemouth should cost less than £2m with 18 months on a £1m a year contract left and Conceicao unemployed and been successful in several countries.

The biggest cost will be sacking Dyche but he will finish 15th-17th this season and finishing 14th instead of 17th is worth an ADDITIONAL c£10m in prize money, so sacking Dyche is a no brainer because it will pay for itself.

Conceicao would be a good one I'd fancy him. Might have West Ham also enter the completion soon, but Lopetegui saved his job with the recent results. They have hard fixtures to come up tho in the next weeks.

Andoni is in talks for another extension already, he got Bournemouth really far and all the stats prove they are righteously there, should be even 3rd. Won't come mid-season. I've known Andoni for too long, he's not that type. But I'd be more than happy to have him.

Andoni will train a top club one day that's written in the stars.

Think that’s a good point someone posted earlier
A lot of players won’t want to play this style and under this manager
Imagine watching us every week, imagine being an attacking player and watching DCL fight with 5 defenders every single game on his own while Doucs runs around behind him like a dog chasing a tennis ball, then imagine you being a player thinking "Cor, I want me some of that".

Dyche needs to go, if we fall into the bottom 3 it's game over for him 8 wins in a calendar month with the oldest slowest team in the Prem - so much deadwood he has kept - I used to like watching the blues - now it is so painful players punching the air after the 0-0 draw Dyche went for -

V City he was shouting get back - the players were stood on Pickford's toes .....

Moyes made mistakes, but he did manage to offload both of those for a small loss.

Compare it to Bolasie 27m, Gomes 22m, Allan 20m, Tosun 27m, Walcott 20m, Iceland 45m.

Jep, football in general and Everton has gone wild in the first 5 years under Moshiri.

Might blame Kenwright and Moyes for implementing the best of outside of top 4-6 club in the country mentality, but surely they did good financial work, because the club Moshiri took over was financially and sportive on a very healthy position.

You pay 20m easily for an average player nowadays. Sad truth that.

I say we extend his contract immediately.

I think it is actually 9 wins since Dec 16th 2023 and it will be 2025 in a few days. 9 wins in 12.5 months (54 weeks & 37 games), when you take in to account that the season closes for 3 months that is 1 win every month and 1 win in every 10 games nearly!!!!

Atrocious, those still supporting this idiot can in no way want the best for this club and I can only assume they want to see our demise.... how can you defend that?

Moyes also went 18months without signing a player for money.

Look Dyche has had it tougher than managers who came before him, but in the Summer he was given 3 new attacking players, only 1 of which he plays consistently.

So clearly there is some disconnect between DoF and manager.

We are signing players that allow the costs to be spread. We also haven’t been a great attraction to player coming in… what with a relegation battle, absentee owners… we have probably not had many great options.

moyes was entitled to get some wrong because he overall his transfers were spot on. If only he and moshiri had met in a different time

Pretty less toxic today.

The alternative view is the club had already demised, and Dyche is clinging and getting a tube out of these subpar players until the custodians can invest in this terrible and unbalanced team.

The league, money and opportunity are three factors that would argue the opposite.

At the moment we can really only point to 3 players as being attractive teammates on the pitch...add a couple more and things may change in our favour.

I think hed obviously be a coup for the club.

However with football being cyclical i would think an alternative style to the top sides would be something that may prove more effective and upset the system.

Good point on the £20mil. Certain posters believe £9-15mil signings should be at least mid-table quality which just isnt realistic.

Pickford £30mil
Young £0
Tarkowski £0
Branthwaite £750k
Mykolenko £18mil
Harrison £0
Mangala £0
Doucoure £22mil
Gana £2mil
McNeil £18mil
DCL £1.5mil

=£92.25mil

Thats been our first 11 against Wolves, Chelsea, Arsenal and City.

Yet some posters expect 'entertainment' and wins over 6pts.

Bewildering.
