2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I think it’s also possibly rolling the dice if we keep him - it’s a difficult decision to make either way
I think keeping him, 4 sides of the dice are staying up, 2 takes us down.
I’m not sure that figure changes that much if we get another manager.
Southgate and Lampard mentioned in this thread would send us down.

Watching the United game. No one predicted the new United manager would be doing a poorly as he is, looked a good on paper, winning the Portuguese league, flying high in Europe… but United results have got worse. It’s not an easy thing to get right

I can’t believe this is your last remaining defence. “It might get worse we might reappoint Lampard”

Pathetic.

Sorry just reading that again, who has mentioned reappointing Lampard?

Yep one more poor performance and result and he’s gone!

It’s time for the fans to start making some noise at Goodison about getting rid of him and not just the weekly booos
Friedkins won’t be like Moshiri doing whatever the fans want and telling Jim White what their plan is. They’ll do what they want, when they decide to do it, regardless of the fans input.

The recent good draws can certainly be attributed to Dyche, but is has to work both ways. The utter catastrophe we are in transition and in the final third is down to Dyche, his team and their ‘coaching’ and tactics. The complete lack of game management has led to a number of capitulations. Team selections and tactics for games we are likely to see more of the ball are lousy.

87 minutes of good football against a decent Bournemouth side, with Ndiaye decent in transition, was our blueprint for a successful season. What happened next has kiboshed that with Dyche resorting to type rather than fixing the subs and game management.

I don’t think the group of players we have are particularly suited to Dyche’s style. Let’s face it he’s gone in the summer so buying players suited to long balls and winning 2nd ball scraps is unlikely to be a good long term strategy.

New owners is a huge step for the club, and the first step towards better times. Whatever happens next, relegation or not, I’m confident we have the wherewithal and resources to bounce back.

Second step has to be the immediate removal of Sean Dyche.

I really can't see the point in giving this clown the Bournemouth game because for me it means he gets the spurs game as well. This for me means we might scrape a point and thats debatable. Then we will really will be knee deep in it, he needs to go this week, I would then give Baines the 2 games if they haven't already got someone sorted.
