2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

question he should of been asked at the press conference

" So Sean how do you feel that only Burton Albion are the only team to have won less games than your Everton side in 2024?"

Dyche, "Well it was like this before I got here, if I get a contract extension this is something we can work on"

"How would you achieve that then?"

Dyche,"Well if we played them in the cup we could then hold that record instead of them"

"I don't think you get the concept of the question Sean"

Dyche, "Listen i have been a premier league manager for over 10 years, I know what I am doing", Anyway they are a good outfit".

I am not going mad honest

Because people are angry and disenchanted and is it any wonder? Or should we just do what the club do and pretend everything is ok when our form is terminal
It is about time this fanbase stood up and not accepted more of the crap we`ve had to deal with for the last 30 years, it`s not TFGs fault but surely they want the same us us, right? Right?!?

Dyche Out, nice and loud for the next home game! Send the message.....

I have been reading reports, which I find extremely difficult to believe, that state the current squad love Sean Dyche, this report seems to be put forward as a sort of validation of job he is doing at Everton. I see it in a completely different way, in my mind it should be read as being indicative of the mindset of our players. Under SD they don’t have to go out and bust a gut trying to get forward and back, they simply sit back and defend, there is no pressure on them to retain the ball as his style is to allow the other side to have it but mainly they is no jeopardy in losing. We lose so many games it has become exceptable, if you play poorly you stay in the team. I work in a job where my results are there for all to see, if I lose a case someone further up the food chain wants to know what went wrong, if I lose a couple on the trot then someone wants to know what is wrong with me. If I had a boss who just wanted me to go out and draw and who shrugged his shoulders when I lost and just said “we go again”, I would like him/her.
I don’t particularly want a manager who is popular with the players, I really don’t want a manager who is popular with the players of a losing team. In fact I would expect it to be a prerequisite that the manager of a losing team is unpopular with the players.

Are there any positive stats out there? There must be something surely 🤔

Clean sheets. Level with Arsenal and Newcastle.
Unfortunately because we watch we know its not a well drilled defence that gains them on their own. Its because we surrender the attack.
He had similar stats at Burnley.
Lets not kid ourselves. He hasnt changed since his turf moor days. Its the same drill, set up and tactics.

Just had a quick skim - I could only see one report, and it's from the worst speculative click bait merchant there is.

It's also wrong and relies on £30m Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea not being included, when it will be.

I don't think Leicester will get a deduction of points this season.
Dewsbury-Hall signed for Chelsea in July, didn't he? Wouldn't that make that transaction a 24-25 accounting year credit and exclude it from the 23-24 finances that they are looking at now?

Chelsea have signed midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City for £30m.

The Foxes academy graduate, 25, has signed a six-year contract until 2030.

His transfer was completed before Sunday's Premier League profit and sustainability rules (PSR) deadline so will help Leicester comply with the financial guidelines.
