2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

They've turned Roma's results around. I don't care who they pick as long as it has the same result.
Well, their results this season have been turned around, alright - into the toilet.

They need to sack Dyche now and get a proper manager in. They've had long enough to reflect on their Roma mistakes and think about Everton's future. This is their first acid test.

I'll tell you this now: if we see Dyche sacked and not allowed to sort this out as he has from far worse situation in the last two seasons our chances of relegation will increase about 100%.

There's a way of managing in relegation fights and we have one of the proven ones. Get another manager is and we'll - IMO - be certs to go down.

Hate to say this but if we're going to get beat (inevitable really), it might have been better if it was 4 or 5.

It would force the owners hand.

It'll be the usual 'small margins, injuries, had to take off key players' and probably means he'll be around for few more games.

I was one of the people who gave him lot of credit after last 2 seasons - despite the style of play.

This season has been appalling.
A manager like Dyche isn't for the long term, same as Allardyce. They always regress after a season or two. We do need to be careful with the next appointment though because they are inheriting the 4th worst squad in the division.

Easy person to blame, but the squad of players he has been given is a joke...this is on the dof for me first and foremost. This is the worst squad of players in probably 20 years plus.
That just means the job description right now is to get something out of sh1te players and Dyche is getting nothing out of them. Don’t wait until we drop into the bottom 3. SACK

Did well last season under challenging circumstances but performances and results have dropped off a cliff this season and he doesn’t seem to have a clue how to get the team scoring goals. We aren’t going to nil-nil our way to safety.

I think that is probably it now for Sean Dyche. It is clear that whatever he is trying to do is not working and tbh it is hard to see what he is trying to do to win matches.
We kept Lampard on for at least a month too long and we can't make the same mistake again.

I expect Kevin Thelwell will play a big role in what happens next and it is a big test for him also.

Moyes is the obvious replacement (if he wants the job) until the summer and then regroup?
I would prefer Pochettino but that is impossible for all sorts of reasons.

3 wins in 19 is an unacceptable record and any manager at Everton with that record should resign never mind be sacked.

If he manages the next game then the new ownership is making a mistake
They've already made a huge mistake and thrown away 6 huge points by keeping him on after Christmas. The early signs of their ownership are incredibly unimpressive to me, to say the least.

They've come into a club where the manager's actions in keeping us up has allowed them to take control of the club.

Let them back him now and hand him support and cash. It'll look terrible for them if they dont.

Dyche has done his job.

Tremendous job, IMO, until this season.

And to be fair, we're still above the drop. So TFG have an opportunity to improve us.

It's gone stale. Well too stale now. It's not lack of effort or application either. This team hasn't downed tools. We've failed, again with recruitment. We need to recruit well this window.

To move away from relegation fodder we have to spend and move away from this manager.

Don't spend an no point.

What will look terrible for them is buying a club and not acting to replace the manager who has a win ratio of 3 in 19 and a team that can’t even get a shot on goal.
