2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Nothing surer in the next 48 hours: "the club owners give their full support to Sean Dyche".

Then we roll on to Peterborough and Villa.

I suspect Villa will be the moment of truth.

They've already made a huge mistake and thrown away 6 huge points by keeping him on after Christmas. The early signs of their ownership are incredibly unimpressive to me, to say the least.
Yup, they have played it just as Dyche would: cautiously while hoping for the best.

They haven't started well here at all - but that can be rectified with a swift change on Monday.

Its not Bournemouths fault that they can spend money and we can’t, and the fact they have spent money and now have a decent squad with a manger that actually wants to play football ffs.

Of course not. But the idea they mocked our style of play like it was an equal playing field to upset us is a bit silly.

Doesn't excuse it like but it is like a posh boy laughing at a pauper who's trying to survive.

They've come into a club where the manager's actions in keeping us up has allowed them to take control of the club.

Let them back him now and hand him support and cash. It'll look terrible for them if they dont.
what evidence do you have that Dyche can be trusted with any transfer funds at all? We spent all our money on a Centre Back who ‘isn’t ready’

If you play three holding midfielders and two full backs who never join the attack then you can’t be surprised that when you’re only attacking weapon - your set pieces - is nullified you simply don’t have the bodies in the final third going to ever score

I'll tell you this now: if we see Dyche sacked and not allowed to sort this out as he has from far worse situation in the last two seasons our chances of relegation will increase about 100%.

There's a way of managing in relegation fights and we have one of the proven ones. Get another manager is and we'll - IMO - be certs to go down.
Dyche has been sussed and we are seeing the results of it. Our only attacking ploys being kick the corner to Tarkowski at the back post and boot it aimlessly to DCL. Last season doesn’t count anymore Dave, he is showing us nothing to suggest he can address the dire football and dire points total. Last year was siege mentality and almost Dogs of War at times but now we have a manager and half a team who know they are leaving by June at the latest.

I think that is probably it now for Sean Dyche. It is clear that whatever he is trying to do is not working and tbh it is hard to see what he is trying to do to win matches.
We kept Lampard on for at least a month too long and we can't make the same mistake again.

I expect Kevin Thelwell will play a big role in what happens next and it is a big test for him also.

Moyes is the obvious replacement (if he wants the job) until the summer and then regroup?
I would prefer Pochettino but that is impossible for all sorts of reasons.

Moyes already said he doesn't want a relegation fight job.

Did well last season under challenging circumstances but performances and results have dropped off a cliff this season and he doesn’t seem to have a clue how to get the team scoring goals. We aren’t going to nil-nil our way to safety.
No plan b really as lack of options. Doucoure is not working anymore. Perhaps a change of system would be a good idea (3 at the back)...
