I just think the feeling around what we're doing, it goes down again, so therefore we've got to challenge ourselves to deal with that. And these players have dealt with a lot, I remind you of that and I remind myself of it, often. They have dealt with a lot these players. A managers job is to motivate his players, to make them believe they can compete and challenge every team they play. Coming out at the start of the season saying "We're crap" is the worst thing you can say, admiting defeat before a ball has been kicked. I think to be a top top manager you have to hate to lose. I dont think losing bothers Dyche one bit.

Past seasons show it will be, and we look on course to repeat. I want to get more than 34 points though!

They won't, Leicester are collapsing and Ipswich will do a Luton and run out of steam. Everyone said the same about Luton last season and they got about 26 points.

Watched his post match conference, and he looked deflated...not sure if he knows more than us and perhaps has been told that this is the team he has to work with for the rest of the season. Maybe he is running out of ideas on how to change things or he is sending a message above to let our owners know that we need reinforcements.

Not really, we would’ve gone down in both 21/22 and 22/23 with that. Last season was the outlier and not the norm.
