2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

If he's sacked from a fixed term contract, he'll get what he was contracted to earn until the contract end date.
Payment terms are negotiated upon exit, rarely upfront because of the tax liability.

Unless you're privvy to something different?
That’s the rumour that’s been around all season. No idea the truth in it, or likelihood of truth.

This is nonsense because PSR isn’t settled until June 30th. So you could cover any cost of sacking him with a sale or just by finishing a couple of places higher, in which case prize money covers the cost.

Anyone suggesting sacking Dyche would automatically mean we fail PSR is making stuff up.

It's been widely reported on GOT that there is a clause in his contract that his severance amount is double what he is owed to the end of his contract if he is sacked.

Yeah been saying this a lot myself, Dave. I honestly think 13th-16th is our level in this league right now.

We only have 2 standout players in Pickford and Branthwaite. Our fullback options are the worst in the league, our striking options are among the worst. But the rest are all mid-table quality.

That's why I've been wanting to not call for the manager's head but there is no denying for me that 17 from 19, with only 3 wins, is shocking.

I personally feel if they have a man in mind, and he is available, they should move for him now. But if he's not available, then it does complicate things.
Spot on mate.

From Alan Myers report on Sky: Dyche's post-match comments had the fans even more worried about the future as the former Burnley boss suggested that his side's recent run of one win in 12 games "doesn't look bad on paper, if there had been a few wins".

It's not just the bizarre statement that get's me, he's been ridiculed for it and rightly so. But whether deliberate or not this waffle coming from Dyche has been going on all season from the first game (about "what they do here"). Everton should be speaking to him either to check how he is or to rebuke him.

I'd say there's no point checking how he is, he knows exactly what he's doing what buttons he's pressing. He's a beaut but he's not daft. The club need to do something about it.

Weak leadership that's why they do nothing.

If he has us cemented into the relegation zone. Then he should be sacked.
And we likely end up being relegated because it’s then too late and we are too far behind for any new manager to get us out?

You’d then blame the owners for not having acted sooner.

We are only moving one way in the table.
