Christ alive @Neiler this is desperate stuff pal.

Go on then, which player specifically out of Godfrey, Onana and Maupey has had the most dramatic effect on the teams XG this season?

In the Guardian today:

Ndiaye is someone thriving under Dyche’s tutelage, perhaps unexpectedly, and watching him shield the ball 25 yards from his own goal, hold off a defender, then spin past two more to create a smart breakaway was a joy. In such a moment you can see how Dyche wants his team to play with the ball and how it can incorporate technical players. Dyche says the final pass is the issue and has asked for time. But with Everton once again looking over their shoulders at the relegation places, time is in even shorter supply than usual. The January transfer window feels critical.

Worth a discussion.. Not convinced by much of this tbh

Obviously need to make changes in Jan!
I bet he hasn't watched a minute of Everton and asked chat gpt to write something about Everton when he realised he had a deadline due.

The stats are absolutely disgusting. Lampard and Benitez, 2 absolutely abysmal managers who facts will show did not relegate the club. Lampard was incredibly lucky that he had the magnificent fans dragging the team over the line in the end, much like Dyche in his first season here.
Dyche has killed any chance of the fans roaring the team over the line because of his despicable and cowardly tactics, he lost Goodison park a long time ago. So we don’t win games, we don’t score goals, we don’t even create chances to score and the fans have never been more apathetic from the moribund, uninspiring and frankly amateurish fare they are being served up each week.
If you want the fans on side to get some points, to create any type of buzz whatsoever that has proven so crucial before then this bluffer needs legging, he can’t change because he doesn’t have the first idea how to.
Honestly I think TFG will end up sacking him out of embarrassment more than anything else. There has most definitely been a noticeable change in the mood/tone of reporting since Saturday and when the TV is showing graphics like that one, it places them in an awkward position regardless of what the plan was for the season.

I think we miss Onana mate, more then we care to admit. Think we also miss Garner.

Both were better in transition and pressing higher up the pitch than our current starting midfielders.

To answer your question.

Moyes having the highest xG surprised me, certainly considering the players Bobby Brown Shoes had at his disposal and that Moyes is known as a defensive coach.

No offence mate but it seems the go to argument is constantly referring to last season. That finished 19 games and 8 months ago and essentially with the same players.
No mate, up until now I had no idea that Amadou Onana (do you remember that fella who was getting rested quite a lot last season?) was the key to such magnificent Xg.
Let’s also pretend we haven’t signed any other players as well.
I imagine with Ben Godfrey now at Ipswich their Xg will probably double…

But it was respond to a point made could the manager have the ability to manage score more goals if we had better attackers….
Garner is a miss, not sure about Onana but some times the balance of a team changes when a player leaves.

I think (as has been alluded to on here) something has happened which has changed the relationship between a good few of the players and him and him. I don’t recall Pickford giving him abuse from the pitch last year and then you gave the rumour about the bust up with DCL.

Wish people would stop this faux handicap Dyche has had to deal with. Bellew came out with it "one arm tied behind his back" week before last. Someone else said it. Others saying he's had a lot to put up with and others blaming the quality of the players. Sure sure he's had a tough time but at the end of the day it's what goes out on the pitch that matters it was far from acceptable last season and it's much worse this season.

This narrative is what keeps Dyche in a job. Wake up smell the coffee.

Makes my blood boil hearing people say he's done a great job! Kinelllllllllll.
