2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He’s very good at keeping his job in difficult circumstances to be honest.

However I’ve seen a change in him, feel he knows the writing is on the wall, it’s just when.

Even in the current circumstances prob for the reasons I’ve said re the next appointment, TFG would prefer if he did the job until the summer, unless their investment becomes at risk and every week at the moment it’s increasing the jeopardy of that investment - if it continues that way they will act.
I’ve thought the same thing, too. His demeanour during the matches lately have seemed lower energy. Instead of a defiant post-match interview it’s more resigned.

Agreed mate it’s become more pronounced every game, he never went over to the fans at the weekend - not many of the players did either mind and not sure if many picked up on it but he threw some players under the bus at the weekend.

Thats usually indicates a man who know he’s heading toward the exit door.

Any update from @The Bobble?
He said on his podcast they would really rather not have to move him till the summer as the manager they want is in a job. But surely the results speak for themselves??? It won't improve until he goes so find someone available. I am hoping they are sorting out who is coming before they sack him as they did with Roma....

All the over the hill pundits want us to keep him. He is what they know, a throwback to the days when they played and more importantly he is one of the few British managers operating in the Premier League. I heard Ally McCoist saying much the same thing. I would love to hear their rationale for keeping him apart from the rubbish they spout about him being experienced in a relegation battle, he is only experienced in relegation battles because he isn’t good enough to win enough games to have his teams further up the league. They are yesterday men lining up to speak for another yesterday man, shouldn’t be given airtime.
Carragher tearing apart our attack and lack of goals then saying we should keep him, spit the dog ffs

Up till 4 hours ago he was still here, don`t think we will see a change before the FA Cup game now and IF we win that I think he will see Villa and Spurs aswell...
