2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Rejected by a squad player from Villa who prefers to go to Ipswich. FFS! To be fair, if you were a young footballer who wants to improve your ability and prospects for your career, would you want to be coached by Dyche?
So we can't score to save our lives, we are racing towards relegation zone and one of the biggest factors that has kept us up in recent seasons, i.e. the fans who go to the game and push the players to compete, have lost enthusiasm as they have been completely been numbed by the football they have to watch (the atmosphere gets flatter by the week). But still TFG sit on their hands and keep Dyche in place whilst others are appointing managers who we could have appointed which would have given the fans and the squad some hope. Staggeringly disappointing.
Spot on

I guess when people’s business experience is Football Manager, then 3 weeks into buying something - regardless of due diligence - this is a harsh judgement in the extreme. I don’t know the poster’s business experience so this may be overly judgmental!

They will still be unearthing all the nasty stuff lurking hidden in the woodwork. If at the same time, they could have something done on manager and transfers, given the wreck they have bought, it would have been miraculous by now.

Exactly. There will be all kinds of skeletons in the cupboard that the last owners have left behind.
