If we keep with Dyche, it’s going to be difficult to sign new players this month.

Look what happened with Philogene. He was persuaded to join Ipswich after talking to their manager….

Who wants to play football (if that’s what you call it) under him.

Not one player would sign for this club because of the manager, not one in world football. Many will not because of the manager.

A bigger budget means nothing when nobody other than a handful of his old Burnley yard dog mates will want to join us.

It's not about the size of the budget, it's the parameters.

Eg - Scenario 1 - sell Dom, get £20mill to spend on a new player who's deal will need to be a contract over 4 years with £5 million upfront.

Scenario 2 - sack Dyche for (hypothetical) £5mill. That £20mill becomes £15mill...and that player above is no longer able to buy.

That's the pool we're in regardless of manager.

I’m saying in some cases the manager who they are going to play for has a huge pull in a players decision.

Not one player will come here for our current manager.

We're paying Harrison £90k a week.

But there's other players. This kid Philigene for example could possibly go from playing Bayern in the champions league...to the championship next season.

So we either don’t get the player and keep Dyche, or don’t get the player and sack Dyche.

Can I take the second option please?
