2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

They've handled it all so badly so far.

If they were going to sack him, he should have been sacked on Monday at the latest. Let's say Tuesday to allow for cross-Atlantic flights.

But now?

I'm nervous now about the "succession". There doesn't seem to have been a plan ready for execution. The only thing they have executed is Dyche...
There's nothing classless about it in truth. The manager has performed well below requirement this season and the turgid football that's been delivered has not gone down at all well with the vast majority of Evertonians. The average tenure of a Premier League Manager is less than 2 years I think, yet he'll be getting a belting pay-off. He was happy to take the job when the last encumbent got flirted.
It's the way it is - limited tenure, big pay-off, walk into another job (likely he'll rock up at Luton within days), rinse and repeat.
The only additional part this time is that the sacking has been delivered in typical corporate American style....blunt, concise and without any emotion. Being an Englishman who's experienced corporate American recruitment and 're-structuring' I find it quite refreshing and business-like....much better than the soft-lipped patter the likes of Kenwright gave departing managers.

I’m a big ITK on this situation and I can tonight stick my neck on the line and reveal that Dyche’s tenure at the club is being considered and that it’s currently a 50/50 situation as to whether he stays or goes. He could be relieved of his duties as early as this week or as late as the Summer if TFG decide to change manager.

Just quoting myself here. Big time ITK.

You know, I’d live with all that if they weren’t going ahead and appointing the Comfy Cardy as replacement.

Bill Kenwright lives!

Exactly.

He can't take us forward but wants to see out the season which would have relegated us.
Actually do not think Dyche cared a jot about this Club. He always said he never gets highs or lows which means to me he doesn't care. Only cares about his own pocket. He would have just continued in what he thinks is successful football (eventually) by not changing tactics, system or players. Stuck in his own ways and not willing to change

Yes, it's a business not a charity.
