How long have you been an Evertonian? If you think Dyche was possibly the lowest point in our history, you need to go back to school. A bit of perpective is needed. I was not a fan of his, but he deserves credit for last season. Do you remember the points deduction?

Absolutely. He's been well payed for what he's done and we should remember that. But we should also remember that he saved the club in his first season and the financial benefit of that is immeasurable - not to mention an excellent effort last season bearing in mind the crap start and points deduction. His contribution will stand the test of time. He would have gone by the end of the season anyway, but the knives are out on the forum, as usual.

To be honest, for me he looked a bit like a person that was close to have a burn out, as limited as he's a manager.

The job was very intense no doubt with much more of coaching/managing than a usual manager and little support of the club to handle these tasks, I wish him the best for the future, but it was the right decision to take.

Well put. Again, I was not a Dyche fan, and it was time for him to go, because it was the end of the road, but your comment "the knives are out on the forum, as usual" sums it up. I predict that it won't be long before the knives are out for someone else.

I think we'll see Dyche at Ipswich or Leicester and this could return to hunt us.
Think he’s finished in management for a good two years. He’ll be lined up by his agent to go full David Brent on every Monday Night Football selling his philosophy to rebuild his reputation.

No premier league club will touch him for the foreseeable and let’s not forget, it was only us being an absolute basket case as to why he got a job after being out of work for a while after Burnley

I may be in a minority here, but I think Dyche will be viewed better in retrospect , than he is now.
History will say he saved us from relegation and kept us up, despite 2 points deductions.
He can walk out of here with his head held high.
Perhaps inevitable new owners would want a new man. I just hope it's not a gamble. We need a safe pair of hands either Moyes or Jose.
And it does not excuse the fact that this is a weak squad and needs 3 or 4 new additions in January.
