So he basically admitted he did everything that he possibly could which to me sounds like him admitting defeat knowing full well that he couldn't do any better yet we still have people on here acting like he is/was a for sure lock to keep us up.
He wasn't keeping us up, we all more or less knew that.So he basically admitted he did everything that he possibly could which to me sounds like him admitting defeat knowing full well that he couldn't do any better yet we still have people on here acting like he is/was a for sure lock to keep us up.
TFG: 'Things aren't looking great Sean, but you've got our backing. Now - what more can we help you with this month to turn things around?'Admitting he isn’t good enough for the job but wanting his pay off.
Totally agree. It's life as a manager though and he's been paid well for what he's done but time will judge his time here well.I may be in a minority here, but I think Dyche will be viewed better in retrospect , than he is now.
History will say he saved us from relegation and kept us up, despite 2 points deductions.
He can walk out of here with his head held high.
The times article makes me think this is more on Dyche! Falling out with players according to Paddy Boyland too.
The right decision, but he deserves some respect for last season. Should never be put alongside the 3 you mentioned.Only on par with the day we got shut of Mike Walker, Fat Sam and FSW
But that's exactly what i'm talking about. How things look is what matters, not how they actually happen. The issue is that it looks chaotic and dysfunctional, it doesn't instill confidence, and that's what they should care about as new owners. They knew there was a game tonight so the comms should have reflected that, waiting 24 hours to make an announcement, to the point where people could literally arrive at the ground to watch a game without realising we've sacked our manager, is utterly stupid. I don't need you to agree, i'm just telling you what I think both as a fan and from a professional standpoint.
I don't know you but guess that you would have done the same, right? HonestlySo he threw the towel in but didn’t resign so could get pay out. Rat
People ignore the football he has been putting on and go back to his job at Burnley and think that because he got them 7th we should be happy with 17th? I dunno, I don't get it myself.Absolutely bizarre how out of touch the rest of the footballing world is - the general consensus seems to be how wonderful of a job he was doing and how mad we are to let him go
"Remains to be seen what the atmosphere will be like in Goodison Park" - does it really?
Sensible post. GraciasTo be honest, for me he looked a bit like a person that was close to have a burn out, as limited as he's a manager.
The job was very intense no doubt with much more of coaching/managing than a usual manager and little support of the club to handle these tasks, I wish him the best for the future, but it was the right decision to take.
