2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

What? No, it doesn’t work like that. He’s had half a season compared to Dyche’s full season last year. If we get under 48 points this season then that is mainly due to the former manager getting a grand total of 17 points from the first 19 games, and nothing to do with Moyes. Absolutely brain dead argument.
Ha Ha Ha.

Go back and read it; I did the point wins on a pro rata basis.

Why is match going fans being unhappy a laughing matter?

Because Dave is happy when we’re crap, and angry when we’re good. Hence the reason he was delighted with the performance of the manager when we were sat 1 point above the relegation zone, and is furious at the performance of the current manager for having us 13 clear of it within a month.

^^^ I just see words but with no form or structure to them.

This is how I will walk to Goodison on Saturday, cos Moyes has given us OUR club back.

Akin to a man who was drowning getting annoyed from the safety of the deck of his cruise ship that the man who rescued him wasn’t nice to him and didn’t give him good snacks in the lifeboat. Absolutely zero class.
Akin to a man that was drowning asking how long until we reach shore and then being thrown back in by the man that rescued him and then claiming he can do no more to help him

Dyche won 22 points in the last 18 games of last season...which is what Moyes had in front of him: 18 games.

He's got 13 right now, so if we get way more than 22 that'll be a reflection of talents.

I think Moyes easily surpasses that. He's the better manager.

But the overall argument has always been that Dyche deserves massive credit. Some hand it to him, others just whinge about not getting Total Football.

Twas ever thus, I suppose. You always have to put up with the churlish.

You're doing Dyche a slight disservice there - he got 26 points over the 2nd half of the season

Again, I think 19 points from our remaining 13 games is a big ask given the fixtures ahead in April and our injury list, but it's not impossible. I expect the "bounce" to end sooner rather than later and to regress to something approaching the mean (given the fixtures and injures).

Inappropriate Behaviour

Like every other kopite.

Its true im afraid Dave, Dyche made Everton fans miserable, thousands of us.

You wouldnt know.
It's not a consumer good mate. You cant get your money back. It's what supporting a club is all about.

Maybe ask them to give you a contract with your new season ticket and tell them to put a clause in it stating that if they dont entertain you sufficiently you get a refund?

See what they say to that request...

Yeah, I was going from game 21...which is also where Moyes took over from.

You could always compensate me if you want?

The “bounce” ended after his first game which we lost. And then again after Bournemouth in the cup. You can’t just call it a new manager bounce indefinitely until you feel like it, a new manager bounce means the first 2-3 games.
